When we first received the Keeping Kids Safe DVD my three-and-a-half-year-old son loved watching it repeatedly. At the time he didn’t seem that interested in learning the getaways and, like all kids, something else soon caught his attention. We didn’t think too much about it until five months later when he had the opportunity to attend a Keeping Kids Safe class. We were amazed at how quickly he learned the getaways and at one point he called out the name of a get away when none of the older kids knew the name.
We can only surmise that he truly learned the names and movements from watching the DVD. We were pleased that he remembered what to do and say even months after watching. We wholeheartedly believe in the Keeping Kids Safe program and are pleased that our son has a way to help himself in a time of need.
